About Nicoleta

Nicoleta is a California Bay Area native who fears the written word as much as she is fueled by it. A writer for 20+ years, Nicoleta studied creative writing and literature academically and received her BA in English Literature from San Francisco State University.

 

Her writing aims to paint unconventionally relatable realms of myth and magic by exposing the raw conflict of identity, uncovering the complex diversity of thought, and discovering a magic she has developed the desperate need to find in both the here and now and there and then.

 

Her writing has been published by Tempered Runes Press and MARY: A Journal of New Writing, where she was a finalist for the Editor's Prize. She is working on her first novel.
